Located in west Little Rock’s Chenal Valley, Wildwood Park for the Arts is a developing 104-acre botanical garden and center for the arts.

Divided into several different themed sections – including a water garden created from a rocky creek bed, a one-acre garden filled with more than 150 species of wildflowers and ferns, and an arboretum designed by P. Allen Smith and filled with native trees, azaleas, daffodils and Louisiana iris – the park is a sight to see. But it’s also easy on the ears. Wildwood has its roots in the Arkansas Opera Theatre, and there’s a 625-seat theater on the grounds for performances. Seasonal arts festivals and events are also held throughout the year, so check to see what’s going on during your stay.
