Irish belly dancers, wolfhounds, the Irish Order of Elvi (a group of Elvis lookalikes), marchers, floats, fireworks — and let's not forget Grand Marshall Bo Derek (no, that's not her photo) — are all coming to historic Bridge Street in downtown Hot Springs starting at 6:30 p.m. today for the seventh annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade. Admission is free.

A pub crawl through downtown Hot Springs will follow.

Bridge Street became famous in the 1940s when Ripley's Believe It or Not designated it "The Shortest Street in the World."

Derek is best known for her role as the perfect fantasy woman in 10, Blake Edwards’ 1979 comedy starring the late Dudley Moore. The film’s iconic scene was of Derek, her hair in beaded cornrows, running in slow motion on the beach. It's unknown if she will run (slow-motion or otherwise) down Bridge Street.
