Little Rock has earned national attention for its up-and-coming brewery scene—here’s just a sample of the great beer you’ll enjoy at our city’s finest.

Diamond Bear Brewing Co. & Alehouse keeps things simple: hops, yeast, two-row malted barley and Arkansas water. Apparently there’s something to it because DB brews have won top honors internationally, and their wings and brats aren’t too shabby either.
Flyway Brewing Company
Where: 314 Maple St., North Little Rock
When: 5-10 p.m. Mon, 4-9 p.m. Tues-Thurs, noon-10 p.m. Fri-Sat, noon-9 p.m. Sun
The Argenta brewery gives a nod to Arkansas’ duck hunting tradition in its namesake and its brews. Popular beers include the Whippoorwill Wheat, Free Range Brown Ale and 9 Killer Imperial IPA. Flyway is also known for it handmade soft pretzels that come in surprising flavors. The Lavender Salt with Honey Mustard, Bacon Salt with Hickory Mustard and Sriracha Salt with Madras Curry Mustard are real crowd pleasers.
Blue Canoe Brewing Company
Where: 425 E. Third St., Little Rock
When: 4-9 p.m. Wed-Thurs, 4-10 p.m. Fri, 1-10 p.m. Sat, 1-8 p.m. Sun
Four year-round staples have made this nano brewery and taproom a local favorite—especially Whittler Milk Stout and 4x4 Pale Ale. Seasonal brews, rustic décor, trendy merchandise and apparel, as well as reasonably priced pitchers keep Blue Canoe’s “paddlers” coming back for more.
Vino’s Brewpub
Where: 923 W. Seventh St.
When: 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sun-Thurs; 11 a.m.-midnight Fri & Sat

Brew, food and entertainment mean Vino’s has it all. Little Rock’s oldest brewpub will cook up around 20 different brews over the course of a year, along with made-to-order stone baked pizzas, calzones, sandwiches and salads. This local staple is not to be missed. Our recommendation: Try the Firehouse Pale Ale.
Lost 40 Brewing
Where: 501 Byrd St.
When: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Wed-Sun

Lost Forty Brewing’s trendy new tap room was inspired by traditional Munich beer halls.
New kid on the block Lost Forty exploded onto the scene in late 2014 and people are absolutely wild about it. Favorites include the Lost Forty Pale Ale and Love Honey Bock, not to mention a menu of raved-about snacks.
Stone’s Throw Brewing
